A cat?  Yep, one of the main characters in Aurora’s Nightmare is a cat.  And a nameless one at that.  Here’s its original profile.

Age: Unknown (an adult cat, not a kitten)
Build: Average House Cat (lean and fit)
Fur: Jet Black
Eyes: Green (piercing)
Clothing: None
Additional Notes (Appearance): Looks a little ragged (it’s been living on the streets).  Generally appears to be calm but alert.
Character Summary: A black cat that fearlessly launched itself at the nightmare attacking Ars and Tia.

The cat’s purpose isn’t to provide Aurora’s Nightmare with a cute mascot character.  It actually plays a very critical role in the plot but I can’t say more without serious spoilers so you’ll just have to play the demo (or wait for the full game) to learn more.
