Tristitia, or Tia for short, is one of a trio of childhood friends along with Aurora and Ars (the main character).\u00a0 Growing up she was the unofficial leader of their little group, a role that has persisted into the present.\u00a0 She and Ars started dating in their teens and, as the game begins, have begun preparing for their wedding.<\/p>\n
Here\u2019s some early sketches of her done by Hanbee Lee.<\/p>\n Tia is an extremely confident person, with the skills, both mental and physical, to back it up.\u00a0 She has a reputation of being the best at whatever she tries and is something of a natural born leader.\u00a0 As a result, she can be a bit vain and controlling as times, especially when it comes to Ars.\u00a0 But despite that, she\u2019s a genuinely kind and caring person.<\/p>\n Her intellectual curiosity led her to a job as a research scientist.\u00a0 She loves her job and, along with Ars and her coworkers, is determined to solve Lucerna\u2019s greatest mysteries.\u00a0 But such a task may be more than even she can handle\u2026<\/p>\n When I was originally planning Aurora\u2019s Nightmare as an ordinary novel, Tia\u2019s role in the story was considerably smaller than Ars and Aurora\u2019s.\u00a0 As such, I didn\u2019t spend a lot of time fleshing out her character, focusing more on how the other two saw her than how she really was.\u00a0 However, with the change to a visual novel, I was given the opportunity to explore a number of different ways in which the story could unfold.\u00a0 As a result, Tia\u2019s importance grew significantly, to the point where she\u2019s featured just as prominently as her friends.\u00a0 She also gets a special role all her own outside of the main story.<\/p>\n In closing, here\u2019s one of her poses, all ready to go in the game.<\/p>\n Here we have Aurora’s Nightmare\u2019s second leading lady; Aurora\u2019s friend and Ars\u2019 fianc\u00e9, Tia.\u00a0 As with Aurora, let\u2019s start out with Tia\u2019s description from my reference document.
