While I, unfortunately, haven\u2019t been able to make a lot of progress on Aurora\u2019s Nightmare recently, with the summer coming up, I should have a lot more time on my hands (though the current world situation has still left a lot of things in the air).\u00a0 My current goal for the summer is first to recruit a new CG artist and hopefully get the remaining CGs finished.\u00a0 Meanwhile, I\u2019ll be returning to some serious writing.\u00a0 Specifically, I\u2019m hoping to, at minimum, finish the script for the first route.\u00a0 After that, I\u2019ll likely switch gears for a bit and put the route together in the game engine, along with some upgrades to the GUI and such.\u00a0 While I haven\u2019t made any decisions yet, I\u2019m toying with the idea of releasing the game in an early access of sorts with the first route and then patching in the remaining routes as they\u2019re finished.\u00a0 But even if I don\u2019t take that approach, I\u2019ll be able to send the first route to testers while I work on the rest.\u00a0 There\u2019s still a couple of weeks left before I can get to work in earnest, but I was able to get a lot done last summer so here\u2019s hoping this one will be the same.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
