When it comes to the menus and other parts of the GUI, there are some elements that I need to build from scratch.\u00a0 In general though, I try to work with and modify the basic GUI that\u2019s in VN Maker (that saves a lot of time and hassle).\u00a0 In some cases, it\u2019s a relatively simple matter of swapping out some graphics and sounds.\u00a0 In others, I have to dig into the script files and mess with the coding.\u00a0 That gets a lot trickier.\u00a0 Hiding a menu option I don\u2019t need isn\u2019t too bad, but adding entirely new ones, or even just resizing some of the windows, requires lot of trial and error.\u00a0 Between that, and the limited feature set in the demo, the GUI there was sort of a beta version.\u00a0 I\u2019ll been adding more functionality, and streamlining the navigation and such, in the future before the next public release.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
