Plans for 2016

So, it’s a new year.  What’s coming up for Aurora’s Nightmare?  My original goal was to release the finished game this year. While that’s still possible, since I have to put a considerable amount of time towards earning that second master’s degree I mentioned in the past, I may have to push the final release back into 2017.  At very least though, I want to get a demo out this year.

Other things that should happen this year, regardless of how busy I am?  Well, the music should be completed long before the year is over.  The CG art as well.  Though those things are somewhat out of my hands, so their completion is dependent on nothing going terrible wrong for Nick and Badriel.  Character shading really should get done this year as well…though that’s dependent on whether or not I find someone to take over for Brian.  I actually have a strong possibility there, but nothing has been decided yet and one thing I’ve learned from game development is never to count your chickens before they hatch.

All that leaves is the script and compilation, which is all on me, and therefore very dependent on my schedule.  But I’ll do what I can and we’ll see what happens.

Happy 2016!
