Childhood Friends

One major theme in the story of Aurora’s Nightmare is friendship and the different ways it can grow and change over one’s life.  Ars, Aurora, and Tia were friends for just about as long as they can remember and, unlike many childhood friendship, they remained close friends as the grew older and, at the time of Aurora’s Nightmare, they’re still inseparable.  But, as Ars and Tia’s relationship turned from friendship to romance, the entire dynamic of the group shifted with it, in a way that none of the trio fully realize.  Work and the responsibilities that come with it wrought their changes as well.  But what are these changes exactly and in what ways have they affected each member of the group?  In the end, nothing can stay the same forever, not even the closest of bonds…
